It seems like just when we thought we’d heard it all, we suddenly find ourselves smacked in the face (figuratively speaking) with some delightfully obscure new phallic trivia.

Is the last “fact” a hint to circumsize? There are also fewer bacteria in a mouth without teeth. Let’s cut out teeth??
F. Jay Ver
Semen has less calories than one would expect.
Deon Letsoalo
42 types of bacteria? I think I’m going to be sick!
Roy Lewis
Very interesting!!
TheAngryFag
@Rene: That and the burn victim thing too. Genital mutilation for a good cause!

If you want to see pics of this appendage, go to google images and type in 2016 GOP candidates.

Only six-second orgasms? My condolences. Mine last at least 20.
notevenwrong
@Deon Letsoalo, There are more than 700 oral bacterial species, with between 34 and 72 species detectable in any given mouth. Will you give up kissing now?
Dustin Lipsey
I didn’t know that but about burn victims. That’s very interesting
Sukhrajah
@1EqualityUSA: Thank Allah that Santorum is no longer running. Thanks to Mr. Dan Savage – Santorum is now NSFW (and NSFyourapetite)!
Sukhrajah
@TheAngryFag:
Interesting indeed. I mean, I disagree with circumcision, and you might get flamed by those that cannot detect sarcasm. That said, I wonder how else the circumcised foreskins are being used?
TampaBayTed
@Sukhrajah: They used to be used in cosmetics.
jimmycurry01
@Rene: I am not a big proponent of cricumcision, but I don’t believe it isn’t a hint to anything. I think it is just stating a fact. After all, not all bacteria is bad, in fact most bacteria are not bad.
1EqualityUSA
and a matching foreskin wallet available for the Holidaze.
Maude
You should know that: “…but I don’t believe it isn’t a hint to anything…”, means you do believe it is a hint to something.
BigG
Highly support circumcision. Uncut is higher risk for std/hiv infection. Plus the bacteria rate can also increase cancer risk for both the man and receiver. No thank you.
bajaboy
I knew a handsome young marine in 1975 whose thick penis hung at least four inches below his knee. He had short legs, but even if they were 28″, half of that plus 4 would be 18″. I didn’t know him well enough to measure.:(
1EqualityUSA
bajaboy, were you on dramamine?
Rene
@jimmycurry01: Guess I was grumpy when I wrote my comment. Thanks for your comment. Appreciate it.
onthemark
The biggest one EVER was only 13.5″? That doesn’t seem likely.
Rocinante
@BigG: I highly support the right of anyone to decide for themselves whether they want to mutilate their body via piercing, tattoos or circumcision. But this decision should be left to the person whose body will be affected by such decisions. This desicion should not be left to a religiously motivated parent or a societal mores based on masturbation prevention. If I am so desperate to change the probability of dying from an std by 100s of a percent by cutting off my foreskin, that is my decision.
Xzamilio
7 calories, huh? Well, fuck you, Atkins… I found my new diet!!

Is there some reason they used a female symbol (circle with “plus” sign) rather than male (circle with an arrow)?
ingyaom
Here’s the original graphic (with male symbol):

Not sure where “female” came from.
Captain Obvious
Semen isn’t fat free. The cries from West Hollywood can be heard in the Valley.
alphacentauri
LMAO like the majority of men in the UK who are intact with a foreskin are going to get m u t i l a t e d because of some silly image like this.
Juan Torred
Really? Less bacteria if you’re circumcised… Just another tactic to promote “Male Mutilation” Penises will always be dirty cut or not.
Ricochet
@Rene: I’ve read it like that too 😉
But please, don’t cut parts of your dick off guys.
sgw246
What is wrong with having a circumcised dick? Circumcisionphoebia may be a bit of a mouth full (sic), but please don’t let this become another cross that I (we) have to bear! Most of us didn’t have any say in the matter, and I don’t miss what I never knew I had, in the first place! Why should you care?
Stache
@sgw246: “Most of us didn’t have any say in the matter”
You just defined the problem. Why not let the kid have a say whether or not he even wants to be mutilated?
In some countries they also mutilate the female. Of course people are rightfully outraged by the practice. Yet guys are suppose to just buck up and be men and not talk about it. It’s all the same thing.
sgw246
@Stache: Not everyone has a choice – sometimes it is carried out for medical reasons or, mostly, being born into the Jewish or Moslem faiths. To be honest, being “done” as a baby must be preferable to having to have the procedure as an adult (the thought of which would frighten me to death)!
DarkZephyr
I wish I hadn’t been circumcised but I don’t think statements of fact can be seen as “propaganda”. Some people are such alarmists. There ARE fewer types of bacteria on circumcised penises because there simply isn’t as much of a moist, skin covered area to breed it like with uncircumcised ones. Uncircumcised guys just need to make sure they keep clean, that’s all. No big deal. No reason to accuse Queerty of promoting genital mutilation. The extra bacteria doesn’t make uncircumcised any less hot. When I perform oral, I always make sure the guy is clean whether he is cut or uncut.
Pistolo
Guys, your whole entire body has bacteria in it- we need some bacterias to survive. Look it up. Some bacteria, of course, isn’t good for you but they didn’t specify.
@BigG: BULLETIN: That myth about circumcision protecting people against HIV transmission is categorically untrue. It’s really time for people start to taking some common sense in to practice! If you look at the prevalence of HIV across the world, a lot of places that widely practice circumcision have higher rates. Most of Europe has .5% or less, same with India, China, South America…US is in the .5% to 1% range which sounds small but it’s quite significant when you take into account the population of the US versus most European countries. Also, the original study…I can’t even go there, it is so f–ked up that it was considered veritable by anyone, it was totally unscientific.
Stop spreading misinformation. Look into PReP or wear an effin’ condom, don’t cut a part of yourself off to prevent an already preventable affliction. Come on now.
DutchGay
I’m 1 in 400 ! Cool ! Now back to the gym to keep it that way 🙂 It doesn’t suck to be unique 🙂
alphacentauri
@Pistolo: The biased junk science studies were trying to prove that circumcision protected against HIV infection and transmission and they found that men who are not cut are less likely to get infected with or transmit HIV; but it’s not like wearing a condom.
alphacentauri
@Pistolo: The biased junk science studies were trying to prove that circumcision protected against HIV infection and transmission and they found that men who are not cut are less likely to get infected with or transmit HIV and other STDs; but it’s not like wearing a condom, and condoms should be used even if you’re intact or cut.
Daggerman
…lets be honest (my experiences through-out the World) a circumcised penis is cleaner, smells better and carries less bacteria. FACT. Not an opinion.
Rene
@Daggerman: Sure you’re right. But as my first comment says: Mouths also smell better without teeth and carries less bacteria. Why isn’t that an equal reason for mouth-mutulation?
Also circumsision causes a less sensitive glance. FACT. Not an opinion.
😉
Daggerman
….first, men who are not circumcised possess an offensive odor and not just the germs, so really there is a necessary reason for circumcising–it is healthier and more social…
Daggerman
…mouth mutilation?? Why do you believe circumcision of the penis is mutilation anyway??? And what exactly would you do to make the mouth better. Your argument is unfounded and quite stupid. Anyway people use their mouths upon other peoples mouths more than the act of fellatio, so the germ factor doesn’t really matter to anyone…If both parties have got the same amount of germs what is going to be the problem????
