She’s only 11-years-old, but thank gay dad heaven Amaya Sheer is already well versed in the art of shade!
One Million Moms, who you know for generally being completely awful, blasted American Girl magazine for including a story about Rob and Reese Scheer and their four adopted children.
One Million Moms called for a boycott (of course) in their typical hysterical fashion:
“American Girl is attempting to desensitize our youth by featuring a family with two dads. If your child has not seen this yet, then be careful she is not exposed and can avoid a premature conversation she is far too young to understand.”
It doesn’t quite seem to be working out though, because the Scheers have received nothing but support since the OMM “backlash,” and Rob spoke out:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“These were moms! These were moms that were saying that my family was wrong, that the love that my husband and I are giving our four kids and what we’re doing was wrong. I would expect moms not to say these type of things about our family.”
Don’t worry, Rob. Those “One Million Moms” are probably more like a few thousand. Anyways, it was his daughter Amaya that had the best response:
“This is none of your business.”
Yes, little Amaya knows that it’s the simplest shade that cuts the deepest. Here’s hoping that OMM takes that advice.

These so-called “One Million Moms” need to STFU. BTW, “One Million Moms” has a twitter following of 2,154 followers.

Exactly.. Its none of their business.. need to worry about those down low christian husbands of theirs.. Its always the people who scream the loudest with the most to dirt..

One Million Moms is so successful at getting their message out because people won’t shut up about them. The media made them a thing while pretending to skewer them. Anything to get that advertising dollar right?
Blackceo
That’s right young lady. You tell em.

Just like the WBC, K Davis (puking…___) and OMM…the media needs to STOP giving these folks a platform and recognition. They love it when the are treated like “sell”ebrities and see themselves all over the news. Sure, ratings are good but, rantings are bad.

What a little young lady she is indeed. One Million Moms are hardly close to the number they are in volumes. You would think OMM’s would be happy to see adopted children in good. stable and loving homes regardless of 2 dads, 2 moms, mom & dad, but they are just another right wing bigoted organization.

Thank you Rob and Reese Scheer. Your dedication to others is truly inspiring. Your children are so beautiful. If it weren’t for those thousand hormonal moms, I would never have heard this story, so thanks to these haters for making this story so big. Amaya, you are so lovely. Please consider running for the Senate. Greyson, darling! Thank you all.

@Bo Hamrk: It’s still my firm belief that the more attention OMM and other nutcase bigots are given, the more people see just how awful and f***ed-up they are. Lots of people DO wake up and change for the better.

Interesting…on their own website, One Million Moms do not accept comments on any of the general bs they publish. OMM has a LOT of opinions, but they are not interested in yours.
How small and mean of them to suggest that Amaya should not have been featured in AG at all, for no other reason than her parents are gay. Because she isn’t “normal.” Because her family is “different.” Way to go, One Million Monsters.
