GRATUITOUS SKIN — We have a feeling you're going to love these photos of rising stars (or rather, "blowin' up the industry" stars) Simon Nessman and Joey Kirchner from Arena Hommes Plus. Whimsical naivety is on display, as are shower scenes. (Photos: Major Models)

Counting down . . . how long will it take for a bitter, crabby queen to complain about age, twink, smooth, yada yada?

I love this photos except the smoking. Why are people still trying to make it look sexy to smoke? These are really young guys, are they even old enough to smoke?

I hope young gay men don't buy into this idea that smoking is cool or sexy!

I have no complaint about the youth of the models. These are beautiful young men. What I don't like is that the photographer/manager/magazine/whatever show them smoking. That's a very bad image to portray, and it only serves to ruin the beauty these young men possess. It shouldn't be encouraged.

Why do the whiney, bitter smoking police care, its not as if you are going to be kissing them anytime soon for crying out loud. Anytime there are pics of young hot guys, the critique police come out and always find something to harp on, its a prop for the most part, bleech.

No. 12 · Michael W.

@Dabq: Yeah. And let's face it, smoking will always look sexy in front of a camera. I personally find it despicable and would never do anything with a smoker that involved mouth to mouth contact, but as much as I hate it, I can't deny that it looks sexy and rebellious (and powerful in the case of cigars).

Simon's not the one smoking, though. So I can put my tongue down his throat.

@Dabq: Your right, we won't be kissing them anytime soon. Does that mean we shouldn't care? I do care about the message such photos send to gay young men. That smoking is cool? It is not. That smoking is sexy, sure it is if you think oxygen masks are hot. We should care

@Joe Brummer: I'm not a smoker, but, since its still a legal product, I could care less if others do, its their lungs they are polluting not mine in a picture. My point is that there is always so much nitpicking about the models shown here, if its a black guy or Asian guy, its always prefaced by 'I'm not into black men or Asian men,' smoker, 'why the smoking?' Hairy chest, 'why the hairy chest?' Just don't look at them would easier than being catty over a picture and its not as if anyone who isn't a smoker is going to start from a picture.

@mb00:

To be fair, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, the UK and even France, IIRC, have smoking bans of one form or another. Even Asian governments are implementing bans. Cigarette smoking has been in decline for a while now.

@Michael W.: I'm with you. Smoking does look sexy on camera, in still shots or some classy, black and white film. It is visual shorthand for rebellion, sass, and confidence. If only the reality meshed with the fantasy.

I've been a smoker for nearly a decade now, and I wish every single day that I had never started. I'm gearing up for what will be my fourth attempt at quitting pretty soon, and I'm hoping this time it will stick. Each previous time I've made it a little longer, so maybe this will be the last time. Trust me, kids, smoking is pleasant for a brief time in the beginning, then after that it is little more than an annoying, inconvenient ball and chain, not to mention a legitimate threat to your well-being.

That being said, though, the holier-than-thou non-smoking types are a genuine pain in the ass. Even before I started, I wasn't half as smug and sanctimonious as the anti-smoking Nazis. I bear no responsibility for the choices of others if they don't affect me.

I think people love to demonize smoking cause its something to point their finger at so they don't have to take a look at themselves. I know people who despise smoking but drink like fish. Drive home from bars risking their lives and those of others and hardly anyone says anything about it. Families, marriages, the lives of children are destroyed by this substance but nobody demonizes it, cause everybody is doing it. So clean out your house before you start on someone else's cause chances are you got something fucked up going on in your own life.

I seem to be in the minority again… I don't mind people smoking as long as I don't have to breathe it, but to me it looks UNsexy. Which is a shame because from what I've seen so far they're cute otherwise.

I don't understand why everyone's getting so bent outta shape about some guy having a cigarette.

We Americans get way too annoyed by way too much. This goes for both our community, the fundies and pretty much everyone else in between.

Live and let live; just because you find something disgusting, doesn't mean others do. The guys in this picture are hot and gorgeous. Further, I would be more than happy to have the one smoking shove his tongue down my mouth.

Oh look, homosexual bigot propaganda artists trying to claim homosexuality is all about "love" and not pedophilia, yet this site is chocked full of porn photos with half naked guys that look suspiciously underage, with homosexual pedophile code words for underage boys like; "Who Is Your Favorite Twink?"

Why am I not surprised?!

Posted: Apr 27, 2009 at 5:09 pm · @Reply · [Flag?]
No. 45 · Alec

@HeteroDefenseLeague: Um, they're 18+. I agree that Nessman in particular looks younger, but uh, they're legal.

Twink is in the realm of 18-24 or so.

I'm not surprised, either: Men are sexually attracted to younger people, whatever their sexual orientation. I think googling "barely legal girls" would probably give you some indication of how popular teenage girls are among heterosexual men.

Also: Please explain and defend straight men's obsession with young girls as evidenced by the very low age of consent, historically, and the success of the novel Lolita. Thank you.

Alec,

I actually agree with most of what you said. There is a BIOLOGICAL reason why males are attracted to young females, after all, why do females ovulate at 12 years old?

Don't forget to add Blue Lagoon and Pretty baby to big movie hits, both movies whose themes revolved around an underage girl having sex, with Brooke Shields at 10 years old being completely frontally nude in Louis Malle's production

BUT, the difference is, male homosexuals commit sex crimes with underage children at rates FAR greater per capita than male heterosexuals, and now we get to the whole point-homosexuals deny it all, all the while keeping a straight face when underage male themed imagery runs rampant through homosexual media just like this site.
