I’m so happy to see that Beasts of a Southern Wild was not forgotten! It is a phenomenal piece of film making. It’ll lose to Silver Linings Playbook, but I’m glad it was nominated at least.

Who writes your headlines? Lincoln received 12 nominations. Life of Pi received 11. Le Miz and Silver Linings Playbook each receive 8 and your headline claims that Silver Linings Playbook “dominates”. Just how does receiving 4 fewer nominations than the leader qualify you to be described as “dominating”?

This is a solid list, but totally unremarkable.
And 100 Black Bibles from the Django soundtrack should have gotten a best song nod. That shit is WILD.

Who selected this pathetic lot? Argo and Life of Pi are the only movies that I enjoyed. I want to see great moviemaking honored. Lincoln? Dear God, save us from sloooow movies that flourish on pretense end schitck.
