I can sympathize with the “straight” guys. I am bi, but I guess I’m pretty well in the closet about it. Few close to me know and an ex who knew would often tease me about it. It’s easy to stay closeted because coming out as bi is way more complicated than it’s worth, or than it seems to be worth. It’s tough because people understand gay and people understand straight, but people don’t “get” that you might be turned on by certain things and not others or that interest in a gender might be purely sexual. Guys have messaged me when I posted online about searching for a girl to add to me and my ex-gf’s fun, and I was inundated with “straight” guys who wanted to join. Numerous said they wanted to do various things to me. Straight indeed. I didn’t blame them. There’s a feeling that if people know you’re bi, that you’re all alone and won’t be accepted by either straight not gay communities. I may have opened up a can of worms bi posting this (sorry, couldn’t resist), but I feel that one of the “straight” guys should voice an opinion here.
