BY THE NUMBERS — The number of new HIV diagnoses attributed to gay men in the United Kingdom. Some 7,370 new cases were reported last year — a figure that’s always assumed to be lower than actual infections. And while gay men are still considered the highest risks for contracting HIV, “the number of new diagnoses overall and within the gay community has fallen slightly year-on-year.” [BBC]
