THE SHOT — Let’s point out all that is gay in 50 Cent and Soulja Boy’s November cover of XXL: 1) The who’s-your-daddy arm drape; 2) the shirtless twink appeal; 3) the crotch grab; 4) the jewels; 5) the face mask often worn by closeted guys in gay porn; 6) “XXL.” How about a round of applause for two machismo-fueled rappers getting all homonormative without any objection?

It kinda irks me when people assume male celebrities must be straight because that’s what we’ve been told. Hip Hop, IMHO, has the most closeted gay male singers out of any genre, closely followed by country music.
btw, this cover is beyond hot. Either everyone at the photo shoot was to clueless to realize what this picture is implying, or my hat’s completely off to 50 Cent for having the balls. Somehow, though, I think everyone there was just clueless.

This continual ‘love-to-hate’ coverage of 50 Cent on gay blogs to complain about, or snark at, things that he’s doing that aren’t even “gay” related is doing nothing but inadvertently turning him into an unwitting gay icon. He’s arguably as much of an attention grab in the gay media right now as Ricky Martin. It’s only a matter of time before he winds up on the cover of the Advocate, while giving a smarmy, gay-frigid interview inside. Stop.

Neither of these two guys are gay, and no amount of gay baiting headlines or posts are gonna change that reality. What’s really hilarious, is this ultra white gay site, posting an image from a hip hop magazine, I doubt the editors or most posters have even heard of. That’s the biggest LOL of all.

I remember when I saw that cover in CVS, the first thing that came to my mind was, it’s this a gay magazine? 50 cent looks like the ass bandit in that pic and Souja boy looks like his conquest. That is an extremely gay pose and this isn’t the first time I’ve seen those two in gay ass situations. One time, 50 cent was being all dominate, standing all around SB when he was getting his hair cut. Most men sit in a chair and wait. 50 was acting like he owned SB, no personal space at all. I’m going to have to agree with the person who started this thread or whatever. That post is gay as hell. We all know 50 went to jail, he may be teaching SB how to play “pick up the soap”.
