7 Gay Couples Are Marrying In Argentina Every Day

alexjose

In the six months since Argentina legalized same-sex marriage, some 1,300 couples — or 2,600 people — have wed, or more than seven marriages per day. Predictably, the Buenos Aires region leads other districts with 490 marriages. One interesting stat, according to the Federación Argentina LGBT: 70 percent of gay male marriages were between partners already living together at least 12 years.
