That’s why he bought that ranch in Paraguay. So, he can retire where he isn’t despised.
I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but at least Bush actually WENT somewhere. Just arriving in Tanzania and Ghana raises their profile.
I’m no fan of his but Bush has done more than simply show up to Africa. He has done more for Africa – both in time, attention and money spent -than any world leader ever has. Even Geldof has been a huge advocate of Bush’s policies on Africa (even travelling with him). At least give credit where credit is due.
He only draws adoring crowds in places without newspapers.
