“Lampron, however, says he thinks gay farmers should reveal their true nature, regardless of the type of production they are involved in and the size of their enterprise. “I don’t think that being gay would hurt anyone’s business. We’re not in the 1950s anymore.”

I grew up on a farm. Trust me, even today, coming out’s a bad plan. Probably coming out on the farm in 2030’s still going to be kind of a bad plan.

…I am a rural guy – live alone and I’m getting tired of it.
      So what if I’m gay?

I’m a country “mouse”…and I hope to be just that until I take my last breath.

      John,

Don’t worry about a thing. Stop worrying about what people around you say or will say if they find out that you are gay. You dont change as a person and you will see how happy you will be once you are out and live your life as a gay man and a gay farmer. I come from south africa and can tell you its not easy but dont ever give up. Come out as gay and you will have a brick load off your shoulders.

A gay farmer has always been so attractive as he walks around in his boots and jeans.

Let me know how you are doing eventually. You are welcome to contact me to talk to me. Hope i can be of help to u

@John Bower: Hear what you’re saying, John. I’m in the same boat and find it very hard to meet others. Out to friends and family but not everyone else. Sometimes hard, for sure.
