We were just rewatching the new ABBA documentary Super Troupers the other night, and it made us sad to think that Agnetha was so bitter over the way things turned out with the band that she wouldn’t even get back together with her former husband and bandmates for the opening of the Mamma Mia musical in London. We’re not saying she was wrong. Björn and Benny are getting all the royalty money for that very lucrative project, so Anni-Frid really showed up out of the kindness of her heart, and then her heel broke on stage. Poor thing.
Well someone other than her ex-husband managed to pull Agnetha’s heartstrings because all four members of ABBA have reunited very briefly to sign exclusive memorabilia that will be auctioned off to benefit Fundacja Rownosci, a gay pride organization in Warsaw, Poland. Since Poland happens to be the 8th worst country for gays in the world, we wouldn’t blame them if they used the money for some train tickets to Amsterdam.
