This just in: Adam Lambert is a sex machine.
In a new interview with Glamour, the “What Do You Want From Me?” hit maker opened up about his star-studded bedroom conquests, including bedding closeted male celebrities.
Lambert told the magazine that Hollywood is bursting at the seams with closeted gay men.
“I’ve been with a few of them,” he said, nonchalantly.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
The 33-year-old former American Idol contestant believes Hollywood’s “macho culture” is what prevents many men from being open about their sexualities.

“Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that,” he said. “But with women being the primary movie-goers and record-buyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?”
And speaking of women, Lambert says he’s loved a few of them as well.
“I think women are beautiful,” he confessed, “and I always notice when girls smell really good. Like most gay men, I’m drawn to really confident women… I have slept with a woman before.”
Gasp!
“I did it for the first time when I was 29,” he continued. “It was a random thing but I was very curious. It felt great.”

No, it isn’t Hollywood’s “Macho Culture”, anymore than Evangelistic Christians or Mormons are “Macho”.
It is simple gay hating bigotry. But maybe Lambert was too busy talking about how nice women smell to notice.
Countdown to the crazy fans coming in here and freaking out 3….2……1….

If he doesn’t name names, it doesn’t count as “dish.”

Who care about Adam Lambert anyway.
Dee Love
Sure he did..so did I..just trust me
Julio Montesdeoca
Damn, he looks fantastic for 33
LaniK
@Cam: He never said anything about “macho culture,” that’s the article putting words in his mouth. He simply said that it has to do with Hollywood being run mostly by straight men, which to me implies that he thinks they are bigoted, or at least not very open to the LGBT community.

How exactly is anything he said “dishing?” All he did was acknowledge that he’d been with closeted gays in Hollywood. Gay guy living in Hollywood has hookup with closeted guy in Hollywood, what are the odds? @.@
Clark35
Not surprising but he’s not exactly hinting about who they are if it actually happened.
Witchywoman
“This just in: Adam Lambert is a sex machine.” Like we didn’t already know that. 😉
Marc Griffith
He’s 33, but his comments sound like that of an 18 yr old. Kinda immature, IMHO.
QJ201
Not that hard to sleep with a closeted actor in LA….
Chris Magliocca
He’s gross.
Giancarlo85
Everybody is going after him on here. Seriously did you read what he said? Or are you just offended he is out and often androgynous?
Dieter Michaels
so I must have missed this news at the secret gay agenda meeting. Is “sex machine” the new term for WHORE?
Jeff Bruggeman
Adam who?
David Andrew Roubideaux
What a lucky guy! :)’s
lauraspencer
It’s highly unlikely that closeted celebs would sleep with Adam Lambert. Why be closeted if you are going to sleep with and possibly be seen with one of the most out people in entertainment? It is a bit too risky.
This feels more like a PR stunt manufactured by Lambert’s team to drum up press for his new album.
Referencing sex with a woman is probably also a stunt to pander to Lambert’s primary female fan base and make them believe they might have a chance with him.
NoCagada
Next, we’ll be hearing he was raped by Bill Cosby…
Cam
@lauraspencer:
Laura, you and I disagree on here a lot, but frankly, I think you absolutely nailed it here.
Saint Law
@lauraspencer: Oh Gawd. Like no gay man ever fancied the ladies before.
I’m not interested in Lambert, but he is exactly the kind of bloke that would go to bed with a woman and enjoy it.
It’s the swishy ones with nothing to prove that often genuinely do like and desire gals, rather than the try-too-hard cave man closet cases.*
*I’m thinking of U Van Diesel.
Darcy John
seems like a desperate story to be in the news tho – but I like him
Mary Nana Moyer
loved adam in Glee! they arent in the closet anymore, right?

Queerty has once again compromised themselves and the facts souly as a way to gain more readers. That’s five minutes of my life I’ll never get back.
OzJosh
@lauraspencer: You have no idea how this works. Most of the closets in Hollywood have their doors wide open. Everybody knows. Everybody colludes in the delusion that they’re somehow straight, despite the obviously phoney relationships with the opposite sex, despite whatever rumours or denials transpire along the way, and despite hook-ups, flings and even long-standing relationships played out pretty much in plain view.
And, while we’re on the subject, a big shout-out to Ryan! Adam says “hi” too.
Matt
Just goes to show that even someone as gay as Adam can have sex with a woman.
Matt
What’s the purpose of not disclosing names? When he writes his autobiography he can disclose the names then.
Dennis Boo Sundquist
Remember when promoting an upcoming album or project meant promoting that album or project? Hey..guess who I slept with?
Christopher Trombley
Must have a album coming out
Giancarlo85
@lauraspencer: OzJosh said it well enough. There are something called “well known secrets” in Hollywood. If you think everything is very secretive, you’re totally wrong. You don’t understand how Hollywood works at all. Sorry.
ScaryRussianHeather
@Cam:
By now, don’t you know that Queerty doesn’t QUOTE but they use quotation marks anyway?
No “macho culture” was mentioned.
They asked him two questions and he answered them.
And the quote about women was “I’ve slept with a woman before. I did it for the first time when I was 29. It was kind of a random thing, but I was very curious. … It felt great. It was a friend of mine and there was tequila involved and a full moon and then suddenly [laughs].”
ScaryRussianHeather
@ GRAHAM GREMORE
Where did you get the QUOTE about “macho culture”? I didn’t see THAT the article.
And why didn’t you link to the article so people could see what was actually said?
Huffpo did. So did EVERY OTHER media source.
ScaryRussianHeather
@Darcy John:
IT’s not a story in the news. It’s a FOUR PAGE article – an interview by a woman’s magazine in the UK because he’s releasing another album and been the front man for Queen.
It was two statements taken out of all the questions he was asked.
ScaryRussianHeather
Why not cover other stories that aren’t as sensational?
PIONEER TIMES, 4/27/2015

“In an interview with Hunger TV, Lambert talks about how the music industry is quickly becoming more accepting of LGBT artists. He talked about how everything is changing along with society. “I’m thrilled. We have entered a time with a much more level playing field,” said Lambert””.
“”Lambert told Hunger TV, “I think there’s a simple power in being unapologetic and open about who and what you are and not letting it prevent you from getting what you want,” said Lambert. “In that way, I think I’ve made a statement. My wish is for gay to become less of a label, and more of just one of many great colors in the collective box of humanity.”
Tebn
Gay guys do not feel sexual attraction to women and, definitely, they do not have sex with women.
lauraspencer
@Giancarlo85:
No, I don’t know how Hollywood works at all. I have only worked in Hollywood for 23 years in TV and film. Nope. I have no clue whatsoever. Stupid me.
Now if you accused me of not knowing about medicine, law, accounting, etc. you would be right. As far as the entertainment industry goes I know more than my fair share.
Giancarlo85
@lauraspencer: You are a liar… And not a very good one at that.
Bauhaus
@Tebn:
Well, Dr. Freud, I beg to differ. Some gay men do have sex with women, and some even find them sexually attractive.
Bauhaus
@Giancarlo85:
I was gonna say!
LaniK
@Cam: For one, he’s mentioned sleeping with a woman a couple times before. It actually seems believable. If straight people occasionally experiment, why not gay people? And he never said the Hollywood actors he slept with were famous either, he just said that they were closeted. For all we know, they could be relatively unknown. Also, as someone else said, this was taken from a four-page interview where he was asked about a variety of different topics, so it’s not like he just randomly blurted it out. The media chose to focus on this instead of his music. Big surprise. Giancarlo85 also has a point about the open secrets. Plus, if those people knew Adam personally, they might have trusted him not to name names. He’s very open, but he’s never given the names of anyone he’s hooked up with or told specific details about his sex life. In fact, I’m sure he was actually a bit reluctant to answer whether or not he enjoyed sex with the woman. The last time he was asked that was in a video taped radio interview, and he looked very uncomfortable, though he did eventually say that it was fun.
LaniK
@LaniK: whoah totally meant to tag @lauraspencer in that last comment, not you sorry. Though you did agree with her anyway, so I guess it doesn’t matter haha.

n900mixalot
@lauraspencer: If you’re gay and reasonably attractive in Hollywood, chances are you’ve had a date or two with a closeted celeb. I have, many of us have. But you quickly learn that their obsession with celebrity is far more important than a happy personal life.
n900mixalot
@Giancarlo85: Do tell everyone what qualifies you as the expert on closeted Hollywood personalities?
Tebn
@Bauhaus: We must be respectful to bisexual people and we should help them to accept themselves. In this case, he is clearly a bisexual man, because he admits openly to feel sexual attraction to both genders.
The bisexuality is not an invention, it is a reality. Obviously, he is defining a bisexual man; he would be a bisexual man according to his declaration though he do not use that “label”.
ss2509
I think the lgbt community should tone it down. Amazing amounts of acceptance has been achieved from the straights. Don’t push for too much too fast. Besides, we ARE minority segment of our world. We shouldn’t try to dominate, just be accepted as we are.
Ron Parsons
And THAT’S why straights will never fully accept us. Gossiping like old ladies under the hair dryer at the beauty parlor. SMH.

I suspect “Hollywood star” is maybe someone who has a recurring guest role on an E! Network problem.
Daggerman
…this confession does nothing but make me feel that there are so many different walks of life where men hide there homosexuality!–not just in Hollywood. And Mr Lambert is not really revealing much of anything here…although I guess it’s a little something when scratching the tip of the iceberg….anyway the more macho men are the ‘Gayer’ they probably are!!
Bauhaus
@Ron Parsons:
Don’t be bitter. And get out from under that hair dryer, they turned the heat too high on you.
Matt
It’s a shame his parents have to read that their son is just another gay pervert. He wasn’t even in love with this women or those men and they just used each other for their own selfish purposes.
He sometimes plays in the band Queen and sadly he’s turning into another Freddie Mercury. He can only hope he doesn’t have the same tragic ending.
Jake Ashmore
Have any of you read the article? The title is misleading. He’s commenting on the fact that men today in Hollywood are still terrified of being open and out. He’s not bragging.
lauraspencer
@Giancarlo85:
I have no reason to lie. I have worked at CBS, ABC and MTV.
If I were going to lie I would come up with a bigger and better one.
Matt
Jake Ashmore, this site is very slow. You need to wait after posting your comment.

WHY as good as he looks should have a husband by now
RandomH
There have been rumors of him hooking up with notable celebrities (including an Academy Award-winner and a young teen heartthrob) for years, so this is old news. Aside from the fact that this information is taken out of context, and the writer sensationalized a passing remark, I don’t see what the big deal is. Straight singers parade their conquests around without any backlash. Taylor Swift’s entire catalog of songs is based her hookups. It looks like the commenters here have a double standard for Gay artists. I get why bigots and trolls are leaving negative comments but when gay men attack their own for expressing themselves freely one has to scratch their head.
Matt
@RandomH: Taylor dates different guys but she doesn’t sleep around. You can actually date people and not have sex. Besides, Adam’s chances of getting HIV are far greater than Taylor’s.
OhHellNo
He wishes.
