Adam Lambert Earned More Than Any Other ‘American Idol’ Alum In 2015

Adam Lambert’s last album may not have lit the charts on fire last year, though if his earnings are anything to go by, we’re sure he’s unbothered.

Lambert just hit number 1 on the Forbes list of the top earning American Idols in 2015, edging out arguably more famous and higher-selling artists like Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. How did he do it? By exercising those killer pipes on an arena tour as the frontman for Queen, for which he earned the bulk of his $10 million earnings from last year. It’s the first time he’s topped the list and the most he’s earned in one year.

Damn, boy!

We’re sure those dollars are hindering any disappointment about the so-so performance of his last album The Original High and its shoulda-been-a-hit lead single Ghost Town, though the album did hit #2 on the Billboard 200.
