Adam Lambert’s Same-Sex Kiss Is Not Appropriate Daytime Television

It’s been too long since you’ve had something to have a real problem with, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, so we’re pleased to see Adam Lambert provide you with some fodder.

Her big problem, initially, is with Lambert’s overly sexual performance. But when reminded that, uh, ABC airs that shit all the time with women, Hasselbeck switches to this excuse: it was too sexually aggressive.

But bless you, Babs, for standing your ground. You may be old and crazy, but you actually appeared grounded and cognizant today.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck says Adam was Too Sexual. Yet has no problem posing for pictures like this…

      http://www.xarj.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/Elisabeth-Hasselbeck1.jpg

Or wearing dresses like this on the air…

Apparently she only has a problem with “Sexual” when it isn’t furthering her own career.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck says Glambert is too sexual? And how is that my problem that he makes her pussy wet? If you don’t like it, Elizabeth, look away.

Okay, I’m with you all on Hasselbeck, but Sherri couldn’t be more of a dumb box if she tried. Reading the notes her producer provided describing in detail what the performance consisted of was like reading Ken Starr describe Bill Clinton getting a blowjob.

These two women have a problem with gay people being actual people. If we are doing their hair, helping them choose the right clothes or shoes, or decorating their homes then we’re okay, but apparently kissing one another amounts to XXX porn and we should all be ashamed.

Elisabeth is actually good for the democrats. She is such an idiot that she makes the rest of the look bad.

I’m disappointed in Queerty for criticizing Adam so much for this performance. He wanted to be outrageous and he wants to be expressive. Allow him that expression without first being so negative. I will never understand why gay men in particular want to criticize and be so negative so quickly all the time. It’s sad.

Elizabeth and Sherri are why I stopped watching The View, even though I love Whoopi and Joy. You all heard ABC canceled Adam’s Good Morning America concert tomorrow? They caved in to right wing pressure over his performance.

@ Alexa #8: The GMA cancellation is the best thing that could’ve happened. It makes the whole thing start looking like something that should be taken seriously. It will up the decibel level on the buzz re: double standards and hypocrisy. I heard his Letterman spot went well. He sings “What Do You Want From Me?” LOL

If Elisabeth had bothered to do any research before spouting off she would have realized that the “sexual aggressiveness” of the performance she was complaining about was appropriate for the lyrics of his song “For Your Entertainment”.

I initially thought Adam should tone it down. After thinking about it for awhile I think he did the right thing. He expressed his sexuality as openly as heterosexuals done and that’s a good thing.

I can’t stand Elisabeth and Sherri. They are so judgemental and hateful. Elisabeth will always disagree with whatever a gay person does because she is bigoted.

Elisabeth and Sherri are a couple of hateful breeder cunts. Hollywood needs to bring back the blacklist for people like them.

Turn to CBS, watch “The Price is Right” in protest until those whores are fired, and tell ABC why. Drew Carey is a libertarian.

How dare a gay man express his sexuality on stage in a mainstream awards show!!!! This sort of behavior is reserved only for man-pleasing women or straight guys.

Did people forget about how much prince pushed the sexual envelope in pop culture?

What the fuck is wrong with Elizabeth, Adam sucks but its not because of his performance. Its because he just sucks. If he came off a little aggressive then guess what? Men are usually more aggressive sexually then women so……….. Yea

I think the only problem with the ABC here is the double standard that men can’t explore sexual freedom like women can. We are deemed, TOO AGGRESSIVE FOR TV. Yet a lady can strut around the office with a mini skirt and half a breast falling out of her bra.

You gay guys, how dare you express the male-male erotic interaction in a mainstream setting!!!! You should keep that to your own areas. We straight men reserve the right to dictate the terms of our mainstream culture, including what’s permitted in it. We only want hetero and hot lesbians. Hear that?

      Again, how dare you!!!!!

I think that people need to stay on ABC’s ass and point out how bad of a double standard this is. Examples abound of females who parade their sexuality on stage like it’s everybody’s business, but when a gay man does it(lesbo is ok) its too “sexually agressive.” What a load of garbage. This is a culture where gay men are considered sexually agressive if they even HINT at their sexuality. As soon as a gay man mentions something about their BF it is probably considered too agressive. These people would be happier not knowing anything and forcing gays to live out their life in secret. That pinhead bigot Hasselbeck and others like her are the people who help maintain this enviroment of repressing gay men and they must be shot down and exposed for the trash that they are.

Us LGBTs need to take the fight to the enemy :O First target: ABC, attack them heartily my friends. I’m talking Scorched Earth stuff, very harsh rhetoric, get creative. This does appear to be discrimination on the part of ABC. Let us introduce them to Network TV’s old friend, political correctness and take them down a few pegs. I recommend boycotting ABC and if you must watch their shows, do NOT do so on abc’s website, but do it in a way that the Nielsen ppl and their outdated garbage can’t count you in their stats. I’m not going to tell you how, you figure it out, but it’s worth it.
