“It really was, from my perspective, an integrity issue,” says Adm. Mike Mullen, the Joint Chiefs chairman, of the need to repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Leaving the law in place “wasn’t reconcilable” with the military’s honor code.

Isn’t Mike Mullen wonderful? I think his attitude is very decent. We need more men like him in the military.
