I’m pretty sure this is what the plot of Evita was about, right? Something about tears? Whatever. Congratulations to Jose Luis Navarro and Miguel Angel Calefat, Argentina’s first gays to marry under the country’s new law. Best part of the ceremony: When a registry official crossed out “man and woman” with a pen and wrote in “contracting parties” on the marriage license.
My God, you really can’t write, can you?
Did anyone at queerty ever attend college? Or even high school for that matter?
@ #2 & #3…
Hahaha… I was so going to say something also. Its like nobody there proof reads before they allow their “writing” to be published. lol
What’s proof reading?
Oh, and the happy couple is the first to marry under the NATIONAL marriage equity law; a handful of other happy Argentine boys and happy Argentine girls have been over the past year. It was the struggle for those first couples that led to the national law. Someday too, soon, for the “Land of the Free” for all to “pursue[it] of happiness.”
Beautiful and congrats to the happy couple!
Fugly geezers.
Argentina, which experience some of the worst atrocities and oppression in human history under Pinochet, is now officially more progressive than 45 of the 50 U.S. states. Congratulations, gay Argentinians!

Pinochet was military dictator of Peru, not Argentina.
