AFA’s Bryan Fischer: Repealing DADT Will Lead To Surge In Cross-Dressing Soldiers

Is the Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins at all upset that Bryan Fischer, Tony’s counterpart at the American Family Association, is making no attempt to downplay its label as a hate group? And is instead living up to its new title? Having already argued that gay kids are killing themselves because of their sexuality, that gays should pay for AIDS research since they’re the ones spreading it, and now — based on Canada letting trans troops choose their uniforms — peddling the theory that the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell in the U.S. will lead to a military full of drag queens and trans folks who want the government to pay for gender reassignment surgery: “If you want to see where the overturning of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” will lead in the U.S., just take a glance at our neighbor to the north. It’s not a pretty picture.”
