Afternoon Aural: Big Country

It’s been absolute ages since we reviewed our collection Big Country singles. In case you kids don’t recall, the Scottish quarter – now a trio after guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Stuart Adamson’s 2001 death – did big things on the international charts back in the 1980s. We’ve included videos for two of our favorite tracks – “In The Big Country”, “Chance” and “Harvest Home”.

once again, a reminder of how many great songs – and lousy videos – came out of the 80s. I expected a video that would take advantage of the breathtaking Scottish countryside, not some big-haired kids on motorbikes.
