Afternoon Aural: Billy Ocean

Something super queer happens at the 1:32 time mark in this video for Billy Ocean’s “Caribbean Queen”. No, we’re not talking about gay sex or anything. We mean queer as in strange as in “Isn’t it strange the Caribbean Queen’s perfume comes out as a laser cloud?” Then we remember the track came out in 1984, when people were more easily impressed.
