Afternoon Aural: Eddy Grant

We’ve got fond memories of “Electric Avenue,” but never once have we asked or cared about who sang the 1983 track. In fact, we never actually thought about the song having a singer. It just sort of existed.

Imagine our surprise, then, when we stumbled upon this video sung by the one, the only, the virtually anonymous Eddy Grant. Apparently the Guyana born, British-bred singer had a number of other tracks. And, yes, they’re entertaining. For a Tuesday afternoon, at least.

After the jump: “How Do You Feel My Love” and “I Don’t Want To Dance”.
