Afternoon Aural: Fleetwood Mac

A reader just suggested we play a little Fleetwood Mac this afternoon. As big fans, we whole heartedly agreed, one upping them and offering, "Little Lies", from Tango In The Night. Not really their taste, apparently. No, this queen wanted "Gypsy", off Mirage. We're total pushovers, so here it is.

But, as a treat to you (and, yes, ourselves), we put "Little Lies" after the jump. We all deserve a little Stevie Nicks action, don't you agree?

I agree with the reader. "Gypsy" is undoubtedly their finest song.

Geez, I still remember watching MTV, and how JJ Jackson touted that this was one of the most beautiful music videos ever made… and it was. Interesting how both the song and the video stood the test of time… The song is definitely still fresh; and aside from the broadway-style dancing, the video (is it almost 20 years old now?) doesn't seem dated at all.

Eww, and then I just watched the "Little Lies" video — was La Buckingham always that scary looking?
