Afternoon Aural: Johnny Hates Jazz
Pop trio Johnny Hates Jazz named themselves after a friend, presumably named Johnny, who hated jazz. They would go on to release this somewhat jazzy tune, “Shattered Dreams,” which would become their best known single. And, yes, one of our guilty pleasures.
bought the album when it came out and replaced it when it finally came out cd. the whole album is good.
how about a posting of mary’s prayer by meet danny wilson (oh how the groups had strange names back then) and these dreams by heart? both are great songs.
