Today’s afternoon aural – Okkervil River’s “For Real” – comes from Jossip editor Rebecca Aronauer.
The New York Times once described the Austin-based band as “hyperliterary”. Why are we not surprised?
We’re not so keen on the song’s sound, but the video’s enthralling and, yes Aronauer, lead singer Will Sheff’s voice grows on you.
