Afternoon Aural: Pet Shop Boys
 
 

You asked for it. While I can't give you a "Pet Shop Boys Week", we can certainly do a day. Here's the Bruce Weber directed video for "I Get Along", which we think is an underrated singing-to-the-rafters gem in the PSB catalog. Even if you're not a huge fan of the song, there are lots of pretty boys to stare at.

I worship PSB and I've loved this song since I first heard it: PSB channels the Beatles, I say. Unfortunately, their videos often fall short of the songs themselves. With a few exceptions, it's like they go out of their way to give you a video that often has little to do with the song, which many might consider artistic in and of itself but it can leave you a little bereft.

Well if this is PSB week, you could (read: SHOULD) put the PSB-written song 'The Loving Kind' by Girls Aloud. It's 3x amazing.
