We weren’t sure what to think of Rhythm King and Her Friends. At first listen, the duo’s sound’s reminiscent of Le Tigre, which gives it a not entirely pleasant lived-in feeling. As this single, “No Picture of a Hero,” plays out, the sound evolves into something more substantial. By the end we were true believers. Are you? If so, check out the ladies’ MySpace page.
