Second best studio band in history (I'm assuming #1 is obvious).
allan parsons project? zager and evans? at my age it gets a little hard to remember which ones were studio so give me a clue as which you think is the ovbious #1
i agree steely dan is the perfect band, but, studio division.
OMG i hope it aint tangerine dream. although toto is acceptable.
I was clearly referring to Kajagoogoo.
I just noticed that they have some sound in common with Traffic.
Wouldn't the #1 studio band be Milli Vanilli? They won a Grammy so they must be the greatest most beloved band of our generation. Heh.
Steely Dan is the #1 studio band ever. Of course, I'm 43 and it's my opinion. There is an amazing DVD called Steely Dan "Aja". It shows how they go about crafting a few of the songs on the album. It is truly amazing!
They have a sound like no other band. I just got tickets to see them live in Chicago! Woo hoo for me!
