Afternoon Aural: Vanessa Williams

Remember when Vanessa Williams sang? Yeah, we nearly forgot, too. That is until we found this super radical of the Ugly Betty actress’ 1991 hit, “Running Back To You.”

Warning: this video’s not recommended for people prone to seizures.

“Work To Do” is WELL the superior Williams jam. She’s the hottest sign of evil out there.

Nothing but love for Vanessa “Wilhemina Slater” Williams. The woman is flawless!!!! I agree with Darth Paul. “Work to Do” is pure joy. We need to work the Emmy voters into giving Ms. Williams the Best Supporting Actress award this year. She lost to Jamie Pressley last year. How’d that happen??!!

That is the hotness! With the homo following she’s built up with “Betty,” if she released an album right now with some fierce dance tunes, it would sell like hotcakes.

No, they are not mom jeans. There was a time when women and men wore jeans that did not stop at the crack of their ass or hang off of them. I miss the 90′s.
