Afternoon Aural: Walter Egan


Born in New York, musician Walter Egan shot to fame with his 1978 single, “Magnet and Steel.”

Fast-forward thirty years and Egan’s a substitute teach in Tennessee. The lesson: fame is fleeting. Also – this is a killer track.
