They tend to over-use the word "homosexual" (instead of "gay" or "LGBT") perhaps due to some non-native speakers of English reporting the news (there are often minor spelling errors in their ticker-tape news roll on the bottom of the screen). But considering the amazing breadth of coverage, linguistics are not a major issue for me. Unfortunately, despite approval from Canada's broadcast regulator, no cable or satellite TV carriers have picked up Al-Jazeera for coverage in Canada (that I'm aware of). I'm paying for the premium service on livestation.com and I watch it for free on my iPod Touch. Well worth the time to download the free application.
