All Ex-Girlfriends of Lesbian Judges Wind Up Serving 5-Year Jail Sentences

Taylar Nuevelle (pictured) — the ex-girlfriend of D.C. Superior Court Judge Janet Albert, who found Nuevelle unconscious in her attic with food and an ice bucket from a toilet after overdosing on pills — was sentenced to five years in prison for stalking and breaking into Albert’s home. Albert reportedly pleaded with Judge Russell F. Canan to hand down the maximum sentence. He did. And how did Nuevelle’s attorney Latif Doman respond to the sentencing? “The lesson of this is don’t have a bad break up with a lesbian judge. It means you go to jail for five and a half years.”
