Okay, I LOVE this clip of John Candy as Divine as Peter Pan. I have the whole SCTV episode where the episode story line was a riff on “The Towering Inferno” with a fire in a new high-rise that is topped with a nuclear reactor, topped with a revolving restaurant. Brilliant!
But last nights Peter Pan was the… GAYEST show I have seen on television in AGES! Over. The. Top. GAY. Christopher Walken channeling Johnny Depp as an aged “Pirate of the Caribbean”, 95% of the cast being male, 80% of them being muscle boys in dancing tights leaving little to the imagination. Dialog that would make Jerry Sandusky blush (“A boy on every hook and a Hook in every boy!”). It was totally… over the top! Okay, Walken can’t sing, wasn’t expecting him to. But it was totally fun to watch!
Far better than last years “Sound of Moaning”.
