Amélie Mauresmo Is Back On Top

amelie mauresmo

Or should we say in the “active” position? Everyone’s favorite lesbian tennis player from France has regained her number one singles ranking in womens tennis after winning the Australian Open. Amélie Mauresmo previously reached the number one spot in 2004 and held it for five weeks.

Out of the fifteen women ever to reach the number one spot since the rankings system began in 1975, at least three of them are lesbians. We believe that is above the national average. Check out our list after the jump.
