RUBBER THE WRONG WAY

WATCH: American Horror Story‘s Latex Guy Is Seriously Freaky

Most of the weird little first-glimpse trailers for American Horror Story, the new FX show from gay Glee co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy that debuts October 5 at 10pm, have been about as frightening as a  repeat of Nickelodeon’s Are You Afraid of The Dark? Like the one with a baby doll corpse and another with a semi-nude couple. That is, except for the unsettling stranger-in-the-house clip above, where the stranger turns out to be an  dude in a full-body latex suit.  So that’s…weird.

The series, starring Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Jessica Lange, centers around a family that moves into a haunted house but—the way people in movies and TV always do—decides not to run screaming or just hide in some generic apartment complex where murder-ghosts are too bored to put down roots.

In other words, these folks are gonna to get what they deserve.
