Amy Winehouse Rises From Grave To Perform With Tony Bennett

Just when you thought you had heard the last of your favorite bisexual crooner, Amy Winehouse has returned for a duet, singing “Body and Soul” with Tony Bennett. Damn her voice sounds like milk chocolate. Better enjoy it all you can before it fades away.

The Billie influence is heavy in Amy’s vocal — and that’s a good thing.

She puts so many accents and affectations on it that I can’t tell a bloody word she’s saying.

I LOVED her last CD, but this sounded a little weird to me, almost like she decided to completely try to imitate Billie Holliday and not sing it as herself. Still it was nice to hear her again.

You can hear the Billie Holiday influence as clear as anything, but it still sounds like Amy Winehouse.
