@Dawster:
The Cure makes me cry every time I see it. Normally I avoid any film with an HIV story line. Too depressing.

Don’t forget the Canadian film, “Zero Patience” from 1993.

May I add an 11th film from television. It is called ” As Is ” 1986 and stars Robert Carradine, Jonathan Hadary and the Incredible Colleen Dewhurst as a Hospice worker. The original Broadway production of “As Is” by William M. Hoffman opened at the Lyceum Theater in New York on May 1, 1985, ran for 285 performances, was nominated for the 1985 Tony Award (New York City) for the Best Play and the Hoffman play was the basis for this filmed presentation by Production Co: Interchange Television Group.
This is a story of a gay man who finds out he has aids and how people react.

In reference to And the Band Played on- His name is SHILTS, not STILTS- does no one check for spelling errors before publication? Great movies all- although I find most of them hard to watch more than once, having lived through it and survived.
