I don’t know, does Katie Melua have much of a queer following? I like her, but I don’t know if it’s a widespread lesbian thing. I asked a couple girlfriend if they liked her music, but none of them had any idea who she was. And I had totally forgotten about her! But then when I showed this video for “The Flood” to JD, he was all, “Post it! There are hot guys in it! And they’re doing squats! They look like gladiators! The gays will love it!” Of course he was referring to gay men. And so there you have it.

To JD… Good call. I loved it and think I love her too. 🙂

I’m a gay and I hate this shit. The music might be fine, but the video? It’s like 90’s Janet Jackson.

I need a dramamine with this.

I haven’t even watched the video yet, but I think I’ll love it just based on that one visual of the split-screen “peel” the dancers appear to be doing.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HER and her music. She did some duets with Eva Cassidy (a la Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole).
To all the cynics, check out some of her stuff on YouTube. This song video is by no means indicative of the type of songs she sings. Check out her “Moon River” rendition and her original songs like “Cry For You” or “Closest Thing to Crazy.”
Go, Katie, go!

I’ll take the guy who is centre stage at 2.05 and 2.13 nice hair and buff body if not him then all the others one at a time in a even line

@Anon, anon: and what’s wrong with 90’s Janet Jackson?
Caleb Holifield
Surely one of those dancers could have taught her how to do a proper drop spin.

the girl is as boring as dish water… and this vid is boring too. I think Katie Melua as the sex appeal and the sensuality of a flesh eating virus…
Jack
She is so. utterly. boring.
