And We’re Out!

We read one sentence and called it quits: “Long dead from the drugs and the drink and the sadness, Garland…will be featured “live in concert” with the Boston Pops this summer.” Sorry, folks. Our contract explicitly says, “No reanimated gay icons, especially if they sing.” [Gawker]

Even dead Judy is miles ahead of people like Madonna the four note wonder (really that’s her complete musical range 4 notes and that’s after singing lessons for “Evita!”) Poor Judy lived at a time where to eat you had to sign your life away, and she did. Today’s whiners get paid when someone just thinks about a song they sang. Madge and her pals at ASCAP see to that.

Drugs and the drink and the sadness???? WTF, how exploitive is that? Judy may have popped a few pills and washed em down with some vodka, but her life was a far cry from Tragic.
