Anderson Cooper Goes Blind, Updates Grindr Profile
Anderson Cooper almost deprived the world of his piercing blue eyes last week when he suffered a retina burn on assignment.
On his soon-to-be-canceled talk show, Anderson, the Gray Fox said he was working on a story for 60 Minutes in Portugal and had to spend part of the day at sea.
Later, he explained, he developed a burning sensation in his eyes and lost his sight for 36 hours.
Cooper even showed a picture of himself with an eye patch, and joked it’s his new online-dating profile.
That prompts three thoughts:
1. Anderson Cooper could have eye patches over both eyes and we’d still hit it.
2. Anderson Cooper uses hookup sites?
2. Anderson Cooper is single?
He really should consider keeping the eye patch. I’m strangely attracted to him now.

That is no joke. I was ice fishing and burned my retina staring at the tip of my fishing pole.

Eyes are particularly vulnerable to UV damage from reflected glare off water. Pale blues especially so. I can only assume he had the good sense to wear sunglasses while at sea.

He is not single, the bf was with him in Portugal.
