You people into name calling much? Is this the Perez Hilton wing of the Homosexual Party or what? Why the hate fest? Whats the woman done to you? Has she said she’s have to wait to end DOMA? Has she been evasive about DADT? Has she cut funding for HIV/AIDS this year? Has she surrounded herself with religious homophobes and nutjobs? Well maybe some, but I know another person who has also and he’s the President of the United States. We might do well to extend our energy to something that really matters to all of us now. If you are a follower of Andrew Sullivan and his garbage. I’d like to remind you that he was a major cheerleader and supporter for George Bush at one time. He has an unnatural obsession for Palin and her kids. Me? I just think her husband is hot.

OK, this isn’t terribly substantive, but I have to get this off my chest:

“The world is literally her oyster” — that is just a MASSIVE language fail. I know the word “literally” has fallen into usage as a stronger version of the word “actually” but hat’s not how it’s supposed to be used… the world is not an oyster in any way, shape or form. It’s not AN oyster, HER oyster, or anything to do with shellfish or pearls. Seriously, for someone whose paid to write and speak that’s just bad English.

@drresol: Seriously. Her spokesperson like Palin did not answer one thing SPECIFICALLY. So evasive and thus sounded really, really stupid.

OMG. And then to continue on with some stupid sports analogy AFTER Anderson said he didn’t get it. Real smart.

Ugh. To think Palin and her people were very close to being in office is scary.

Something is very fishy about this whole thing. Who the hell steps down from office unless you are forced to?

It’s always so entertaining to watch a politician (or in this case, their spokesperson) grant an interview and then spend the entire time evading questions and being as vague as possible. Really, what’s the point if you’re not going to provide a direct answer to *anything* you’re asked?

I appreciate that Anderson rakes Palin’s spokesperson over hot coals and calls her on the enormous BS quotient of this whole move..

Oh yeah: Resigning “is leadership”! Quitting is leadership! Sarah Palin ditching her office in a preemptive strike to ward off a federal probe into her conduct is an act of supreme “courage” (and LEADERSHIP! Let’s not forget leadership..)
