Annie Talks Gay

So, as you know, Annie “Anne” Hathaway accepted the HRC Ally award last weekend.

Well, HRC just now posted the video of Hathaway’s acceptance speech, in which she discusses all the work she’s got ahead of her, her brother’s coming out and how she doesn’t consider herself just an ally to the gays, but part of the family. Oh, girl!

What do you think of this post?

To Queerty editor: You ARE in love with her, aren’t you? That miniscule bit of heterosexuality hidden somewhere in you (I don’t want to know where, though) has gone ahead and fallen in love with a women. Sudden Feelings of heterophobia?

Now she is what I consider Hollywood Royalty, a star who has compassion, not just for the LGBT community in general, but for others in general. Not the Parises or Britneys that are regulars on magazine covers and news who have no substance and directions in their lives and careers. One should use one’s fame and body of work for a meaningful purpose. Not get arrested for DUI and announce to the world who’s your latest guy-catch.
