I always find it interesting when media outlets bother telling their audience about how many minutes they sat down with their interview subject. If you spent 45 minutes or two hours with someone, does that make your access that much more impressive? Sure, a 90-second chat is different from an afternoon of hanging out. But anyway, I always wonder. And well, D.C. Agenda spent thirty minutes chatting up Houston’s Mayor Annise Parker before the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund’s 10th annual fundraiser on Sunday, where she explains that she’s been a power dyke activist since the 70s. I just want to see pictures of her hair from then!
