Another Gay Gets a TV Talk Show: Oprah’s Nate Berkus Coming Next Fall
Continuing the trend of gays and blacks running talk television (see: Wanda Sykes, Ellen), Oprah’s home decorator-cum-household name Nate Berkus is getting his own syndicated chat fest.s He joins The O’s Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz as Oprah’s syndicated spin-offs, highlighting her winning strategy of using her own program to create insta-stars. And if Oprah opts to move her own namesake show to her struggling-to-launch OWN channel next year, she’s quickly filling the buffer to keep a presence in the syndication market.
Another talk show? OH WAIT! It’s Nate!! WOOF!!

I’d watch that show only because I like when people on TV black out their faces. I’m a sucker for humility, unlike O.
