Who knew far left liberals would use such language. I thought only conservatives used such words.

“you really shouldn’t talk that way about people” Maybe that was saying enough to her. sometimes people will defend their craziness to the end

““It’s okay,” Weiner responded. “It’s not your fault.””

Does Maw Maw EVEN KNOW what a dyke is? Old bat! I respect my elders but Maw Maw would’ve gotten an ear full from me!!!! Amazing how some elders are so bigoted..My neighbor is 80 years old and African American Pastor from the South, and I just love him to pieces, there isn’t a bigoted bone in his body, sweetest man you’ve ever met. We have become such good friends,I look forward to seeing him everyday!!!

Weiner sounds wishy washy. He is not to be trusted. I thought after he posted the photo of his Johnson, he was through. Why is he back???

Let’s turn this around shall we…..

“You a registered Democrat?” Christine Quinn asked an elderly woman wheeling a shopping cart by her.

“I am,” she said. “And I’m not voting for uh, what’s his name? The kike.”

“Okay. I just need you to sign the petition to get me on the ballot,” said Quinn, who then noticed the incredulous reaction of a reporter and added, “and you really shouldn’t talk that way about people.”

“Oh, I’m sorry,” the woman said.

“It’s okay,” Quinn responded. “It’s not your fault.”

Looking forward to seeing him march in the Gay Pride parade surrounded by supporters carrying “I Like Weiner” signs.

Well he was surprised and did admonish her, even if he qualified it. I’m not so critical here because I’m not the quickest when taken by surprise.

It’s not the first time Weiner hasn’t been all-in on gay issues:

De Blasio and Quinn both stood up for what’s right… Weiner was silent (or, one might say, flaccid).

Give me a break if you can’t see the problem here. It was the line “but it’s not your fault.”

I live in NYC and it’s a safe bet this is the end of the road for him.

      @jamesbarnette:

It was his silence, and that subsequent “but it’s not your fault.”

He still has apologized for his racism in his initial campaign for Congress.

He is a creep who should get out of the race. I don’t support Quinn, but I’d take her or any of the other Democrats over this very sleazy man. Just awful, and he actually has gotten worse!

      Should read:

It sounded like he told the woman that it wasn’t cool to call lesbians “dykes”. Then it sounded like he apologized for doing the right thing. Go f**k yourself, Christine Quinn.

The headline makes it sound like he call Quinn a dyke. He did not. “It’s not your fault.” That implies he does think something is wrong with what the woman said, otherwise there is no fault. Did he need to say “It’s not your fault you’re a bigoted moron?” or “Its not your fault you say stupid things because you grew up hearing that tripe and are too simple to think your way out of your preconditioned mindset?” Tempest in a teapot.
