We are gays no matter what type of sex we are or prefer and should always back each other up as we all know you can get nothing done or changed in this country unless we fight back together and use all our brothers and sisters to fight back oh and cash is the next big thing we have to use in this country to change things. Im so glad i do not buy anything from that town and when i go up north now i will make sure to not stop in this town. I hope that they will learn from there mistakes. SHAME ON THE HOTEL AND THE STAFF. I realy have to say that i cant belive that any gay person would have chosen to saty in TAWAS as it is really a inbreed town with nothing to offer but inbreed religious freeks. Vague reports of assaults of gay men happen all the time and no one questions it. But then when it happens to a dyke (with the possible exception of Josie from Top Chef), there's all this murmur in the comments section about how implausible it is. I wound up not pressing charges, by the way, because aside from the local PD being relatively unhelpful, the cop who took my statement repeatedly asked me what I did "to provoke" the assailant, including going so far as to suggest that I had propositioned him. Maybe that's why these mutterings of "bullshit" get my hackles up. Why the double standard? What’s all this about needing more details? The group of friends even bought the attacker and his friends drinks. The resort did nothing to report this according to the actual police department who told between the lines news that the call from the attacked was the first one they had received. What were the circumstances behind the attack? Was she just sitting by the pool and the guy came up and attacked her? Did she do something to him first? There is always another side to the story and Queerty should research what that is before condemning this resort and reporting that a hate crime has been committed.
