Failed law student Stephen Dunne isn't only a homophobe and an idiot, but he's a total zealot. And broke.

Jeremy over at Good As You informs us that Mr. Dunne has set up a website to help fund his lawsuit against the Massachusetts bar association. Not only will the money help him get his bar license, but it'll go toward dismantling Massachusetts' gay marriage laws:

My dream is to become a Lawyer, but I cannot defile my Christian faith simply to pass an examination. I will not pay the price that the Defendants are forcing me to pay in order to practice law in Massachusetts. There is no price tag on my faith. It is not for sale.

After a great deal of deliberation, prayer and introspection, I decided to vindicate my constitutional rights in Federal District Court. On June 25, 2007, I filed a Federal Complaint challenging the inclusion of the question regarding Homosexual Marriage and Homosexual Parenting on the Massachusetts Bar Examination. Furthermore, I am challenging the constitutionality of Homosexual Marriage and Homosexual Parenting in Massachusetts. In 2003, four unelected judges legalized Homosexual Marriage in Goodridge v. Dept. of Public Health, 798 N.E. 2d 941 (Mass. 2003). I sincerely believe that this ruling is profoundly undemocratic and un-American.

If I am to successfully challenge the constitutionality of Homosexual Marriage and Homosexual Parenting in Massachusetts, it will be because of the generosity, support and conviction of my fellow Americans. I cannot overlook the passage in Matthew 10:16: "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves."

You're no dove, Dunne, but you sure are a snake.

It's good to know not all the Dunne clan inherited Dunne's derangement. An alleged cousin recently sent out a note explaining that Dunne has been slowly – but surely – been going insane. What's more, he's apparently got a bit of a problem with fraud:

We more or less grew up together but he's getting weirder & weirder. He was always very smart but strange. Very much the politician type. If you asked him what color the green grass was, he'd tell you all kinds of bullshit and never actually answer the question. Always looking for some kind of crazy deal then he never follows through & drops it to do something else half ass. He grew up in Drexel Hill, Pa. 19026, He went to Upper Darby High School. Not sure about college school names.

The trouble that he got into in the Philly area was, he found a way to get the bank account #'s & pin #'s to his dads retirement account in a bank in Ireland, He then pretended to be his dad, called the company & told them to close the account and send the checks/money to him, he then forged the checks with his fathers name, stealing $80,000.00 pounds which he spent for school bills/loans & a failed business. His mother was his accomplice and now they are getting divorced over this and an attempted murder charge as well. That's another reason why Stephen Dunne is no longer in Pa. because his dad will put him in jail possibly. It's still in court.

Oh boy. We can't confirm this story's true, but Dunne has already proved himself to be a scum bag, so anything is possible. Now that we think about it, though, he'd probably make a great lawyer.
