Antonio Villaraigosa Abandons California Governor Bid

Dianne Feinstein.

Oh God.

It will be Newsom versus Whitman, and Whitman will win.

I was really counting on Villaraigosa to save use from a self-destructive vanity run from Newsom.

I definitely would have liked to see him stay in it. Newsom strikes me as a spoiled rich kid and I’m not sure he’ll play well outside of San Francisco. And DiFi… Well don’t get me started… Would have been nice to have another option in the race.
