Anyone Have $715 for a Jumbotron?

californiasupremecourtrulesgaymarriagecth4n66ji4glMarriage equality supporters are planning a series of vigils and marches, as well as the ambitious goal of getting 100,000 people to mass on the steps of the California Supreme Court this week in San Francisco for the Prop. 8 hearing. One goal the organizers are just shy of meeting is raising $20k for a Jumbotron to display the proceedings inside the court. As of right now, they’re less than $1,000 short of reaching their target– and open to donations. For more information on marching in support of repealing Prop. 8, check out the group’s Facebook page.

Well if they can’t, that is just the beginning of our problems. Luckily the supreme court is in San Fran and not in the capital.
