One needs an irreverent moment at times like this: Friday afternoons. Thus, in an effort to keep you kids satisfied, we turned to YouTube for a little visual stimulation. We had hoped for something funny, but weren’t that tickled by anything.
“Sexy” came next on our list, so we searched “gay forbidden” – you know, gives those gay prudes something to learn. We didn’t get very far, for the first two entries caught our eye: part one and two of a movie called Forbidden Fruit (Gay Asian Guys).
The flick comes to us from Australia and aired on Canada’s PrideVision channel. We’ve included part one after the jump. If you’re at all interested in the struggles of being gay and Asian, other cultures or just new perspectives, you’ll give it a go. Then you can watch part two here.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, yes, the movies come with a “may contain content that is inappropriate for some viewers”. That probably has more to do with the title – “Forbidden”, not “Asian,” we hope…

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

These videos definitely raise some heavy issues that affect the gay asian community throughout the world. I have a blog that tries to combat some of the perceptions of gay asians in the western word. If you have a moment, please take a look and feel free to share with friends . . .

Wow that’s a great blog, urbanrice. Highly recommended for us gay asians out there. I’ll help spread it to my circle of friends. Thanks!

This was a great video. It induced a tremendous number of thoughts about my experiences as a African-American gay man.
PS: I’ve slept with Chinese and Malaysian men before. Asian guys are hot lovers!
