Is that the same guy? I know a Scott Davis and mine is neither a minster nor a sex criminal.
Churches are pretty frequent targets for random arson because they are empty most of the week. That one looks like a particularly easy target. There are thousands of gay-friendly churches. I wouldn’t assume anything until the police have finished their investigation.

@myliberalmind: I have a question. Do you know what “Nolle prosequi” means?
I’ll tell you. It means they dropped all charges. Your statement that he is a “convicted rapist” and “kidnapper” is simply wrong. He’s not convicted anything. That’s just what the police wanted to charge him with.
Fortunately, we live in a society where it requires *proof* to be convicted of a crime. In this case, the prosecutor saw from the start that there was none, and didn’t even try.
