Avenue Q

Avenue Q

West Coasters no longer have to jet all the way to the Big Apple to watch hot young gay men fisting puppets on stage. Avenue Q is now out on the Las Vegas strip, playing at the newly christened Wynn Casino. It’s Sesame Street but queerer than queer. We’re talking Bert and Ernie gay. Hey, it’s a musical with positive messages of isolation, love, and acceptance and, most importantly, show tunes!

Don’t let the innocent-looking puppets fool you into thinking this is an all ages show. Topics include “sex, drinking, and surfing the web for porn.” We know, we know, it’s all old hat to you but did we mention it stars an all puppet cast? Puppets, damnit! We may have just let out our secret plushie fetish…

Tickets range from $88-$99. In Vegas, that’s about thirty seconds at the craps table, so it’s a bargain. Even better, when was the last time you had a date that was no strings attached?
